Bookkeeper

Location: Cardiff

Position: Full Time / Permanent

Salary: Up to £32,000

The opportunity

This role will be to work on clients; posting invoices, reconciling bank and preparing journals such as accruals, prepayments and depreciation.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients
• Experience with Sage Line 50, Xero and other products
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to reconcile all control accounts
• Data processing and reconciliations both at clients' premises and in the office
• Preparation of VAT Returns

The ideal candidate

• 2 years of Bookkeeping experience
• 2 years experience in accountancy practice
• Ability to deal with tasks on a timely basis
• Highly developed organisational skills
• Competent in setting own deadlines and meeting organisational deadlines
• Self-manage workloads
• Be driven and determined
