Job description

We are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team in Farnborough Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting the finance team our projects and collaborating across the business.

The position is offered on a permanent basis with smart working available (2 days from home / 3 days in the office).

To be considered applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will take ownership of core accounting processes and contribute to month-end quarter-end and year-end reporting. You will also work closely with project and cost centre managers to ensure financial integrity across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, budgets and forecasts in collaboration with project and cost centre managers.
  • Maintain and update master data in SAP B1 and Tagetik ensuring proper financial reconciliation including balance sheet intercompany and timesheet management.
  • Approve bank payments and freelancers invoices and accurately report taxable benefits to HMRC including P11Ds and PSA.
Qualifications
  • Either part-qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar financial / accounting role.
  • Proficiency in SAP B1 or similar financial systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams.
