Job description
Private Equity Accountant

One of Jersey's larger fund services providers is looking to appoint a partially qualified Private Equity Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for part-qualified accountancy candidates seeking to further their career within the Private Equity sector.

The role encompasses the following duties/responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation and initial review of financial statements in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
  • Some company secretarial duties, understanding of policies and procedures.
  • You will also be responsible for preparation and review of management fee calculations, as well as bookkeeping, billing and cash management reconciliation tasks.

Ideally, the candidate will be working towards an accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA is preferred), with knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. Analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role, as well as the ability to set priorities, manage deadlines and being a flexible, self-starter with strong team playing skills.

Our client is willing to continue sponsoring the successful candidate with their ongoing study costs, along with covering any costs due to their current employer.
