An independent insurance broker in London is seeking a skilled Commercial Account Handler to join their dynamic team. The role involves managing a £2.5m GWP book, negotiating client renewals, and providing comprehensive support to Account Executives. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Professional Indemnity and general commercial insurance, familiarity with Acturis, and strong client service capabilities. The position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Professional Indemnity and commercial insurance.
  • Familiarity with policies ranging from £2,000 to £500,000 GWP.
  • Sound understanding of commercial product lines and insurer placement.
  • Experience using Acturis at an intermediate level or above.

Responsabilités

  • Manage day‑to‑day servicing of an established commercial book.
  • Negotiate and secure renewals with clients and insurers.
  • Handle MTAs, quotes, and queries promptly.
  • Support Account Executives with all client servicing activities.
  • Ensure FCA compliance and accuracy in documentation.
