Role & responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality, accessible web applications in compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure inclusive and accessible user interfaces.
Utilize .NET C#, ASP.NET MVC (MVC5), and MS SQL to build scalable backend systems.
Use front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Kendo UI, and ARIA to develop responsive and accessible interfaces.
Perform manual and automated accessibility testing using tools like Axe, Pa11y, Lighthouse, and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers).
Identify, prioritize, and fix accessibility issues across web applications.
Integrate accessibility testing into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
Develop RESTful APIs and collaborate on system integration using version control tools like TFS.
Stay updated on web accessibility guidelines, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders.
Contribute to accessibility awareness and training within the development team.
