What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Present retirement plan and flexible spending account products to decision-makers and end users to close new sales
- Schedule appointments and visit potential referral sources, particularly in the financial advisor community
- Utilize various prospecting methods, including phone calls, direct mail, and seminars, to seek new clients
- Analyze prospects’ needs to recommend appropriate products and facilitate client satisfaction
- Complete business paperwork and enter sales notes into Salesforce.com for seamless service delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience with successful completion of required training programs
- 2 years of experience in sales or sales management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel outside of geographical territory for conferences and meetings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the retirement planning or HR services industry
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
- Proven track record in lead generation and closing sales
- Advanced sales training or certifications
- Strong networking skills within the financial services community
