Infineon, the leading semiconductor partner in this field, is looking for a Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our team in Provence, France. In this role, you will create innovative power integrated circuits (ICs) and intelligent switches designed for the automotive industry. You will join a talented team of engineers and collaborate closely with various other teams within the Research and Development department. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing high-quality, robust, and innovative ICs following the development process flow.
• Reviewing and analyzing product requirements to ensure successful project execution.
• Supporting pre-silicon verification at the block level according to the design flow.
• Documenting and presenting the performance of your design in detail.
• Guiding Layout Engineers and mentoring junior designers to ensure knowledge sharing and growth.
• Participating in the verification plan creation and IC debugging in the lab.
• Troubleshooting the root cause of issues and providing creative solutions.
• Leading projects concerning design topics.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Analog Designer Engineer with a strong background in power electronics and the physics of semiconductor devices. You should have:

• A Master's Degree in Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent field of studies.
• At least 7 years of experience as an analog/mixed-signal designer, with a proven track record of leading projects and mentoring junior designers.
• Experience with Cadence tools for analog/mixed-signal IC design and layout tools.
• Strong analog layout knowledge.
• Experience in leading microelectronics projects and mentoring interns, PhD students, or junior designers.
• Fluency in English, with French as optional.

It would be an advantage if you have experience with:

• Design for EMC/ESD.
• Thermal aspects related to package and power design.
• Vertical Technology IC Design.
• Automotive and functional safety.
• Automotive standards, such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and IATF 16949.
• V-Model product development lifecycle.
