Workshop Manager
Job summary
A specialized surface treatment company in Sartrouville is seeking a Workshop Manager (M/F) to oversee operations and enhance productivity. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in workshop supervision within the mechanics or surface treatment industry. This role requires strong management abilities, as well as a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. The position offers the chance to lead a team while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workshop supervision, preferably in the Surface Treatment industry.
- Prior management experience essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations through monitored KPIs.
- Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Engage in continuous improvement actions.
- Oversee operators' planning and recruitment needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

As part of our strong growth, we are looking for a Workshop Manager (M/F).
Under the supervision of the Production Manager, you will:
- Follow your daily action perimeter through monitored KPIs
- Manage and optimize the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Participate in continuous improvement actions
- Manage operators (planning, manpower forecast, recruitment needs assessment, etc.)
- Improve productivity figures and ensure that opetaors strictly comply with industrial safety and hygiene rules and regulations
You have at least 5 years of experience in workshop supervision within the Mechanics industry in general, ideally within the Surface Treatment industry
You have at least one prior management experience
Machining has not secret for you
You are recognized for your dynamism, accountability and team spirit
Position based in Sartrouville (Yvelines, France)
