Zusammenfassung
A leading engineering firm in Dresden is seeking a dedicated individual to manage supplier and product master data, ensuring smooth procurement processes. You will analyze data, clarify technical issues with suppliers, and optimize data quality within projects. The ideal candidate has completed commercial training focused on purchasing, is proficient with ERP systems like SAP, and possesses excellent German and English skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a strong emphasis on data management.
Qualifikationen
- Completed commercial training focused on purchasing or materials management.
- Initial professional experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Proficient use of ERP systems and MS Office.
Aufgaben
- Maintain and prepare supplier and product master data in the ERP system.
- Obtain quotes and create price comparisons and analyses.
- Participate in process optimization for data quality improvement.
- Support standardization of item master data in projects.
- Clarify technical issues with suppliers.
- Review internal orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Track deadlines for open orders.

Description
In this role, you will ensure the precise and efficient management of supplier and product master data. You will be key to smooth procurement processes, drive the optimization of our data infrastructure, and ensure that internal teams and external partners have access to reliable information at all times.
- Maintenance and preparation of supplier and product master data, as well as the creation of new items in the ERP system
- Obtaining quotes and technical product information, and creating price comparisons, analyses, and statistics
- Participation in process optimization to improve data quality and infrastructure
- Support in projects such as the standardization of item master data
- Clarification of technical issues with suppliers
- Reviewing internal orders against defined criteria and resolving any discrepancies
- Tracking deadlines for open orders
- Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on purchasing or materials management
- Initial professional experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Proficient use of ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft NAV/Navision, Infor, SAP) and MS Office
- Good technical understanding
- Very good German and English skills
