Job summary
A healthcare service provider in Pembroke, Ontario is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to deliver essential care to clients. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, administering medication, and providing emotional support. Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program.
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker.
- Recent TB Test or Chest X-Ray is required.
- First Aid or CPR Certificate is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing and grooming.
- Provide support with mobility and transfers.
- Administer medication according to prescribed instructions.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with clients.
