A national security agency in Ottawa is seeking a Team Leader to manage pay and benefits services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation, experience in HR systems like PeopleSoft or SAP, and the ability to lead a team. The role involves mentoring specialists and implementing best practices. This position comes with a competitive salary and benefits.
Job Summary: Manage, organize, and plan the delivery of pay and benefits services by implementing changes to service delivery as required, setting objectives, directing subordinates, and evaluating work performance. Provide direction and advice to employees, managers and pay & benefits specialists on all matters pertaining to pay, benefits, garnishments, transfers, adjustments, and pension.
The Undergraduate degree/College Diploma must be obtained from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.
Note: Recent is defined as experience acquired within the last 5 years.

This position is eligible for the Pay Market Modifier which is valued at 3.5% of the basic annual salary ($99,392 - $120,917) for the Team Leader position. The above includes the 3.5% Pay Market Modifier for the Team Leader position.
