Lead Shop Foreman – Forklift Repair & Tech Team Lead
Job summary
A leading repair facility in Montreal is seeking an Experienced Shop Foreman to oversee a team of Forklift technicians. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of mechanic experience and 1 year in a supervisory role within the forklift repair industry. Responsibilities include workload delegation, training new employees, and ensuring the quality of repairs. Competitive hourly compensation is offered, with salaries ranging from $62,000 to $93,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years mechanic experience.
- At least 1 year Supervisor/Lead Mechanic experience in the Forklift industry.
- Valid G Class driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Delegate workload within the service department.
- Train, mentor and supervise all new and existing Shop employees.
- Oversee repairs to ensure quality and accuracy.
