Retail Store Supervisor – Mega Bazaar

Location: St. John’s, NL A1E 1T1

Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent Employment

Work Hours: Flexible – morning, day, evening, night, weekend, shift, on call, flexible hours. Start date: As soon as possible.

Salary: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Authorize returns of merchandise
• Sell merchandise efficiently
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
• Manage cash

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail environment
• Languages: English required; asset languages Hindi and Punjabi are welcomed
• Shift flexibility: Ability to work morning, day, evening, night, weekend, shift and on‑call hours
• Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliable, team player, ability to multitask
• Physical requirements: Fast‑paced environment, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling as needed
