About the role
As the Assistant Manager, you will lead and oversee the success of the Retail Sales and Customer Service teams at a Canadian Bank branch. Your focus will be on executing business strategies, initiatives, and individual goals aligned with the team’s objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and foster a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships.
- Assist in building and strengthening relationships through financial advice and customer service.
- Coach your team for success on individual and branch levels.
- Drive results and ensure engagement with staff, customers, and partners.
Candidates should have:
- Experience managing people and engaging teams.
- Experience in personal banking.
- Demonstrated sales management skills and ability to market Scotiabank.
- Strong relationship-building skills focused on client experience.
- License to sell mutual funds.
- Completed the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning or an equivalent recognized by the bank.
- Educational qualifications to act as an Alternate Branch Compliance Officer.
