Job Summary

The Senior Tax Analyst will become a key member of a high-growthdirect taxteam where Equinix’s investment in the xScale joint venture business is expected to scale with rising demand for AI driven solutions by technology companies.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US federal taxation principles; experience with US partnershipcomplianceis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment ofcorporate income taxesforjurisdictions with EMEA, APAC and the Americas regionfor thexScalejoint venture entities.This includes US partnershipand corporateincome tax returns, REIT tax returns and various foreign corporate income tax and withholding tax returns

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance,operations and external local tax advisors to resolve various issues in the tax return preparationprocess

• Manage responses tovariousglobaltax audits, andincometax assessments

• Prepare the quarterly and annualASC 740tax provisioning process, including completion of tax packages, preparation of tax provision to return true-up, scrutiny of tax payables with preparation of roll-forward schedules and review of quarterly financial forecasts

• Support the preparation of local statutoryfinancial statements under both US GAAP and IFRSby determining tax provisions, tax-related balance sheet accounts, and preparing tax related disclosurefootnotes

• Support variousad-hoctax projects in the regionas needed andassistintheir implementation

Qualifications

• Minimum of4years’experience inabig 4 accounting firm and/or corporate tax function ofa multinational corporation focusing on US and foreignincometax complianceand ASC740 income tax provision. Experience in preparing and reviewingUS partnership returns is preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting,Financeor a related field

• Amaster’s degree in taxationor a relevantprofessionalcertification (e.g., CPA)preferred

• Experience with ASC 740 preferred

• Experience working with third-party advisors, such as tax consultants and auditors, and managing relationships with external stakeholders

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 81,000 - 121,000 CAD / Annual

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 80,000 - 120,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
