Research Associate – Securities and Finance Practice (Toronto)

We are looking for a talented economist with a background in finance, accounting, and/or statistics to join our Securities and Finance practice in Toronto, starting July 2026.

Representative projects:

• Estimating damages and assessing loss causation in complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, bankruptcy, fraudulent conveyance, auditor liability, and valuation of illiquid assets and businesses.
• Analysis of class certification issues.
• Analysis of trading strategies and alleged market manipulation.
• Financial regulatory research work.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build quantitative models and apply econometric analysis to economic and financial data.

Qualifications:
