- Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employment
- Manage files from commitment to broker until all conditions are met
- Communicate with brokers via fax, email, or phone to request and clarify documentation
- Review all documentation to ensure conditions are met
- Coordinate with funding department and verify employment, income, and down payment
- Handle MLS, Purchase and Sale Agreements, appraisals, and other documentation
- Follow up with brokers for additional information when needed
- Review and audit files before progressing
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of information in Merlin and other systems
- Respond promptly to broker inquiries and requests
- Update file notes regularly for transparency
- Specialize in bridges and transfer mortgages
- Complete assigned projects as directed by team leadership
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
- One year of mortgage experience preferred
