Job Title: Social Marketing Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 12 + Months

Daily Responsibilities
  • A strategic and creative storyteller with experience in developing and executing impactful digital communications strategies and content, as well an in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and trends.
  • A motivated and organized self-starter with the ability to consistently produce high-quality work, manage multiple tasks, and execute under deadlines.
  • A results-driven achiever with the ability to gather and communicate key insights and a strong understanding of digital media metrics and tools.
  • A detail-oriented facilitator who is able to produce clear and engaging content working across a variety of subject matters.
  • An adept and intuitive communicator with the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for a variety of projects with diverse audiences.
  • A thoughtful team player who is eager to collaborate effectively with people from a variety of teams and cultures.
You are responsible for
  • The position has national accountability to provide input and assist Sales Enablement and Communications with identifying, planning, managing, tracking and reporting on digital marketing initiatives.
  • The role is responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining Client’s Mortgage Specialist profile externally and to maximize the effectiveness of our distribution partners across Client.
  • This position will help strategize and create content for Mortgage Specialist public-facing digital channels, manage digital marketing campaigns, and the design and delivery of internal sales enablement digital tools and corresponding materials.
  • Coordinating market research, marketing strategy, advertising, promotional activities.
  • Gathering, analyzing and reporting information on industry, customer and competitive activities as well as trends.
  • Act as the primary digital marketing liaison between the business, legal, and compliance to assure regulatory compliance for all digital marketing materials.
  • Create and maintain reporting for the purpose of tracking and learning from campaign results, marketing expense and other various management information.
  • Lead web content development/maintenance as well as future digital tactics including but not limited to salesforce emails, external public site, and internal digital sales tools.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with key internal teams.
Core deliverables
  • Translate content from the Client Thought Leadership team into advisor friendly terminology and actionable client insights.
  • Develop sales enablement tools, that would give advisors the ability to customize content with their own value prop prior to sharing with clients.
  • Go-to-market faster with timely and relevant content and update sales enablement content within hours vs days.
  • Customizable Marketing approved templates to reach clients and COIs (Introduction to partners; Customization of bio’s them or their teams; Bios, events, referrals templates).
Must Have Skills
  • Minimum of five years of digital communications experience, with an emphasis on social media copywriting, content creation and account maintenance.
  • Experience with, passion for, and knowledge of social media and other digital communications platforms, audiences, and engagement strategies, as well as measurement tools and metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, editing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects at once, with an interest in both independent and collaborative work.
  • Intellectual curiosity, flexibility, and a desire to tackle challenging problems.
