A leading financial institution in Toronto is seeking a Tax Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of tax accounts across municipalities. The role emphasizes accuracy in tax payment remittance and communication with borrowers and government bodies. Candidates should have a degree in a related field and at least 2 years' experience in the mortgage industry, complementing strong math and analytical skills. - Minimum of 2 years' experience in the mortgage industry or a related field.
- Fluent in English
- Processing and/or property tax experience will be an asset.
Responsabilidades
- Manage a portfolio of tax accounts for multiple municipalities.
- Accurate remittance of tax payments prior to due dates.
- Contact municipalities for property tax information.
- Investigate discrepancies related to tax levies.
- Calculate and process refunds for escrow accounts.
