Job Title: Imaging Technician
Location Address: CAN, Ontario, Waterloo, 500 King Street North – 100% onsite role
Contract Duration: 26/01/2026 to 30/04/2026
Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE: possible, depend on business needs
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to transition into a full-time position. The role begins with a three-month contract to ensure a good fit for both the contractor and the team. The manager is particularly interested in finding someone who is committed to a long-term career with us. Once the candidate demonstrates their capability and alignment with the role, there is a strong likelihood of extension or conversion to a permanent position at ***.

Summary: The main function of an imaging technician is to assist with providing electronic images to different business unites on a timely basis.

• Open, prepare, and sort all mail slated for digital imaging and subsequent processing.
• Analyze content of documents to identify the business unit to which it belongs.
• Apply appropriate tracking methodology for specific mail streams and processes.
• Performing document scanning on high-speed scanners.
• Monitor workflow queues to troubleshoot imaging issues as necessary.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Critical attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.

• 1) Experience operating office equipment and ability to troubleshooting minor hardware and software issues. 1+ years of experience.
• 2) This role requires lifting scanned boxes approximately 20-30 lbs.
• 3) Tech savvy and quick learner who is able to pick up on internal systems.

• 1) Proven knowledge of all BU doc types.
• 2) Demonstrated PC skills.
