We are seeking a Law Clerk to join our growing in‑house Legal Team.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual to be part of a small team supporting a global company. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will manage legal operations, corporate governance, and contract administration at a fast‑paced SaaS company.

You will have a wide range of responsibilities, with a focus on legal entity management, contract administration, and legal operations. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing new processes, documentation, and tools to enhance efficiency while supporting the broader legal team.

The role is available to candidates currently residing and eligible to work in Ontario, Canada.

This is a hybrid role: 3 days a week minimum in the office is expected. Office location: 351 King Street East, Toronto, ON M5C 2V6

What you will be doing:
  • Maintain corporate records, including legal entity information, minute books, and statutory filings, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in contract administration, including drafting and reviewing NDAs, vendor agreements, and basic commercial contracts, and take the lead in contract lifecycle management.
  • Support legal operations initiatives, including vendor management, tracking and reporting key metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Finance, People Ops, and Compliance, to respond to ad hoc legal requests and provide practical guidance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes by helping develop and implement policies and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Ensure all legal documents and records are accurate and well‑organized to provide easy and efficient access for internal stakeholders.
What you will bring:
  • Diploma or certificate in Law Clerk, Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in law or business.
  • 5+ years of experience in a legal support, law clerk, or legal operations role, preferably in‑house within a SaaS, technology, regulated, or corporate environment.
  • Proven ability to manage corporate records, contract workflows, and legal documentation, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Athennian or other entity management software, and comfort with using CLM or e‑signature tools (e.g., DocuSign) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a practical, business‑oriented approach to legal and operational challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, global SaaS environment.
