A construction company is seeking full-time Structural Erectors/Metal Cladding Installers to install steel frames and metal cladding across various job sites in Canada. - Install structural steel frames and metal cladding.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Maintain clean and safe worksite.
Skills
As a result of continued growth, Brandt Development Ltd. is currently seeking full-time permanent Structural Erectors/Metal Cladding Installers.
- Ability to install structural steel frames, metal cladding, trims, and insulation.
- Knowledgeable in reading, understanding and interpreting blueprints.
- Assist in planning the sequence of tasks to install structural steel, miscellaneous metals and building envelopes most efficiently.
- Work at elevated heights safely with the use of aerial work platforms and ladders.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Rig, hoist and move materials with the assistance of mobile cranes and other equipment within worksite.
- Working independently and with a team in a high paced construction environment.
- Must be able to travel and work at various job site locations across Canada for extended periods.
- Always maintain a clean and safe worksite.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to use a computer, email and iPhone applications an asset.
