A leading facilities management company is seeking a Mobile Facilities Technician in Fort St. John to ensure operational integrity across multiple sites. This role requires 3-5 years of facilities management experience, a clean Class 5 BC Driver’s License, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance and inspections. The expected hourly pay range is $33.51-$35.51, based on skills and experience.
The Mobile Facilities Technician will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity and safety of designated locations, supporting the customer service experience across multiple BC Hydro and Black & McDonald sites between Mackenzie to Fort St John and Fort Nelson. This position is responsible for attending service calls, conducting building inspections, initiating corrective work orders, performing light preventive maintenance (PMs), and coordinating with external service providers (Suppliers). The technician acts as a liaison between Black & McDonald and BC Hydro District Office Managers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of facilities-related issues using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
The Mobile Technician will support the coordination of preventative maintenance tasks and inspections for all building systems and services, and corrective repairs as required to ensure continued availability of the building spaces. The Mobile Technician will use their experience and technical skills along with our CMMS system to support our high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $33.51-$35.51/hour dependent on skills and experience.
