Responsibilities

  • Perform Field Service repairs and installations of end‑of‑line strapping equipment.
  • Execute scheduled Preventative Maintenance and resolve machine performance issues.
  • Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.

Skills

Field Service Technician

Monday‑Friday - Day Shift

Overtime after 40 hours

A Global Leader in End‑of‑Line Packaging Automation is expanding its technical service force and hiring an experienced Field Service Technician. This company is renowned for setting world‑class standards in performance, reliability, and innovative technology.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Field Service repairs and installations of end‑of‑line strapping equipment.
  • Execute scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) and work with customers to resolve machine performance issues.
  • Accurately diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical problems, developing a clear action plan.
  • Provide customer training on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Manage vehicle parts inventory and complete service call documentation using wireless devices.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with automated strapping and packaging equipment.
  • Mechanical/Electrical background is essential.
  • PLC controls is required. PLC settings (Allen Bradley Control Logics and Siemens).
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic technology.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Clear (or clean) driver's abstract.
