A leading esports entertainment company in Toronto is seeking a Vice President of Finance to drive financial strategy and operational efficiency. This role involves providing strategic advice to the CEO and leading financial planning, compliance, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation and extensive experience in senior financial leadership within high-growth environments. A hybrid work schedule is offered with the requirement of commuting to the office 3–4 times a week.
As we continue to scale, we are looking for a permanent Vice President of Finance,. This role is a critical member of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT), working closely with the CEO and global leaders to drive financial strategy, compliance, and operational efficiency across this publicly listed business.
The VP of Finance will serve as a key strategic advisor to the CEO and ELT, providing leadership across financial planning & analysis, risk management, compliance, M&A, investor relations support, and reporting. This individual will lead and mentor cross-functional teams across multiple geographies, ensuring alignment with both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals. The role also assumes full oversight of financial reporting, internal controls, audits, and regulatory disclosures required of a publicly traded entity.
