About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Business Analyst with Project Management expertise to join our team in Canada, with a focus on economic modeling, ROI analysis, and strategic planning. This role supports TD Securities and Wholesale Banking by delivering insights that drive financial performance and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial results, forecast trends, and build ROI models for strategic initiatives
  • Support month-end close, planning cycles, and peer analytics
  • Conduct industry research and benchmark TD’s performance against competitors
  • Collaborate with finance partners across Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Regional Offices
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead execution of efficiency initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end business analysis and project delivery across financial initiatives.
  • Analyze and model economic trends, ROI metrics, and investment outcomes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Develop financial forecasts, cost-benefit analyses, and performance dashboards.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with TD’s governance, regulatory, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of ROI modeling, economic analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BIand project management platforms (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • PMP or CBAP certification is a plus
