Job summary
A leading retail corporation in Calgary is seeking a part-time security personnel to ensure the security of premises through patrols and surveillance. Responsibilities include managing access, performing inspections, and investigating security incidents. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Security Guard License. The hourly wage starts at $27.65, and accommodations for disabilities are available as required by law.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older.
- Possess a Security Guard License.
Responsibilities
- Maintain building and yard security through regular patrols and surveillance.
- Perform inbound/outbound verification and paperwork completion.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and respond to incidents.
- Engage in covert operations and theft investigations.
Part time: SA SU MO 05:00 - 13:30
Maintain building and yard security to ensure the integrity of its contents (persons, products and property) through regular patrols, CCTV and alarm monitoring. Investigating, reporting and documenting all incidences of loss including theft, property damage, and security breaches.
- Gatehouse – Inbound/outbound verification of loads, seals and paperwork completion, Gemini/YMS data entry.
- Front Counter Main Entrance – Perimeter access control, CCTV camera surveillance system, alarm systems – burglar and fire, Incident report central filing, switchboard control and personal property inspections.
- Performing inspections, audits, response to incidents, accidents, emergencies.
- Covert operations/theft investigations, and Safety Program procedures, checks, inspections and audits.
The rate of pay for this position starts from $27.65/hr.
