A leading energy company is seeking a Junior Indirect Tax Analyst in Canada, New Brunswick. This role involves preparing indirect tax returns, researching tax legislations, and resolving compliance issues. Candidates should have a background in accounting or finance and 1-3 years of relevant experience. A CPA or CFA designation is a plus. As a Junior Indirect Tax Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for Indirect Tax compliance in various jurisdictions. Your goal will be to work with other members of the Indirect Tax Team to remit appropriate taxes to respective jurisdictions, including filing timely, accurate returns and interacting with jurisdictional tax authorities to resolve queries on indirect tax compliance issues. Your success will be measured by your active role in company growth through your intimate knowledge of your assigned tax jurisdiction, and your ability to interact effectively with customers, team members, and other members of the company to meet our goals and objectives.
Kindly note this role is a fixed term role with an expected duration of 18 months.
