A community service organization in Hamilton seeks a CAP Coordinator to provide essential services for homeless women, including crisis intervention and advocacy. Ideal candidates have a background in Social Work, strong crisis management skills, and a commitment to empowerment of women. This part-time position requires adaptability in scheduling and offers on-the-job training.

Provides support to homeless women accessing Carole Anne's Place, an Out of the Cold program designed to provide a safe, warm, supportive space for women when the shelter beds and overflow beds in the city are full. Using an integrated feminist anti-racist/anti-oppressive and trauma informed perspective, the CAP Coordinator will assess the needs of women and offer supports that include crisis intervention, supportive counseling, referrals, advocacy, brief goal planning, and programming; while ensuring adherence to the YWCA's vision, mission and values.
