A social services organization in Ontario is seeking Child and Youth Workers for casual positions in Timmins. Responsibilities include providing care and supporting youth development through direct work in community-based programs. Casual positions in Timmins at the FW Schumacher building (Intensive Services Program and Live-In Treatment Program opportunities available).
The Child and Youth Workers within the Intensive Service Program (ISP) are responsible for all direct work within its community-based live-in program for children and youth. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing care and supporting the development of life skills and social skills for children and youth between the ages of 8-18 years.
The Child and Youth Workers within the Live-In Treatment Program are responsible for all direct work within its program for children and youth. Duties can include, but are not limited to, administering the clinical program, monitoring and taking part in activities, completing records, logs and inventories, performing building safety and security checks, providing intervention to clients.
