Job summary
A local pizzeria in Abbotsford is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to oversee staff and ensure high standards of food quality. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and experience in a supervisory role. This is a permanent position, offering 37.5 hours of work per week. Strong client focus and teamwork skills are essential.
Qualifications
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays.
- Establish work schedules.
Education
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
