Job summary
A local pizza restaurant in Metro Vancouver is looking for a food service supervisor to manage staff and ensure quality service. Responsibilities include supervising food preparation, training staff, addressing customer concerns, and managing budgets. Candidates should have a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
Qualifications
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.

- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff.
- Train staff in job duties and safety procedures.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.

- Prepare and submit reports
- Prepare food order summaries for chef
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
