Job summary
A staffing agency is seeking skilled CNC operators for a client in the mining and petrochemical industry in Central Ontario. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, optimizing CNC programs, and adhering to quality standards. Ideal candidates will have completed a recognized CNC training program and possess at least 2 years of experience in a machining environment. Competitive pay at $29.40/hr, plus full company-paid benefits and pension are offered.

- Completion of a recognized CNC training program OR equivalent CNC machining experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a machining/manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating CNC machines safely and efficiently.
- Selecting and editing CNC programs to optimize productivity and part accuracy.
- Following routing instructions and ISO/company standards to meet quality specifications.
- Accurately documenting production and quality records, including heat numbers.
- Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and procedures.
- Using precision measurement tools to verify tolerances and quality.
- Reporting equipment or part issues promptly to ensure smooth operation.
- Operating material handling equipment, overhead cranes, and jib hoists (training provided).
