A community support organization is seeking a Community Support Worker to empower individuals with disabilities and provide comprehensive care in their communities. The ideal candidate will have a Community Support Worker Diploma, at least two years of relevant experience, and be able to demonstrate effective communication and behavior management skills. The position offers on-the-job training, a competitive salary ranging from $25.95 to $29.76 per hour, along with a robust benefits package. As our Community Support Worker, you will work as part of a vibrant team to provide care and support to people living in staffed homes within their community. You’ll encourage and empower the people we support to be independent and self‑determining and to live the life they envision while maintaining excellent standards of care, health, and safety. Your natural ability to care for others and work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team will allow you to influence your team’s success.
