Senior Manager, HR Systems 150K base + bonus
As the Senior Manager, HR Systems, you will lead the HR technology strategy and execution, driving the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform. This strategic and hands-on leadership role is responsible for Workday configuration, system governance, reporting, and end-to-end process design—ensuring the technology infrastructure supports a seamless, world-class employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the HRIS roadmap aligned with business and People team priorities.
- Lead the configuration, optimization, and administration of Workday (including HCM, Benefits, Talent, Performance, and Compensation modules).
- Ensure all HR technology solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with data privacy and governance standards.
- Act as the lead configuration expert for Workday—system build, and configuration are fully owned by the HRIS team.
- Partner with HR COEs to gather requirements, test functionality, and translate business needs into effective system design—without transferring configuration responsibilities to COEs.
- Lead planning, rollout, and enhancement of new Workday modules and integrations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and end-to-end process flows for all Workday modules.
- Champion system-driven efficiencies such as automation, self-service capabilities, and mobile accessibility.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across all HR systems and processes.
- Manage and develop a high-performing, cross-functional HRIS team—promoting collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics to support strategic workforce planning.
- Lead system-related change management, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive HRIS experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on expertise in Workday, specifically in HCM, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, and Talent modules.
- Proven ability to manage complex HRIS projects, including module implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining SOPs and process documentation.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Workday certifications and experience in global HR environments are strong assets.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus.
