A local childcare center is seeking a dedicated childcare assistant to engage with children through activities and support early childhood educators. The role involves maintaining equipment, preparing snacks, and guiding children in proper habits. Candidates should have a relevant diploma and 1 to 2 years of experience. The position is permanent and requires 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
Qualificações
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
- Attention to detail required.
- Ability to engage and assist children in various activities.
Responsabilidades
- Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties.
- Maintain daycare equipment.
- Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Submit written observations on children to educators or supervisors.

- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
