Job description

At Thoughtworks, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compensation Manager to join our global Total Rewards Team.

As a Total Reward Sr Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate our talented employees.

Your proven expertise with large Public sector organisations in Reward COE environments will be instrumental with helping articulate our short and long term incentive philosophy, which forms the basis of our total compensation offerings.

This role will be reporting directly to Global Head of Total Rewards.

Job responsibilities
  • Act as SME providing end-end support on Comp Committee and Board related TR inputs wrt bonus, Sales Incentive plan and LTI
  • Responsible to facilitate and own the annual LTI nomination and grant process end - end ( budgets, nominations with senior leaders, training content, board sign offs)
  • Oversee two Reward partners and Commissions Analyst on a dual reporting line, providing support on the STI & LTI programs
  • Support Global Head of Total Reward in all incentive related matters and closely partner with Finance / Legal teams to drive this agenda
  • Responsible for coordinating all proxy filings and Reward Business partnering for global business partners
  • Research and stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices to design and recommend competitive compensation plans that attract and retain top talent for the designated Region.
  • Collaborate with the Region HR Business Partners and hiring managers to assess job roles and responsibilities, ensuring accurate job evaluations and appropriate job classifications for fair and equitable compensation.
  • Integral part of People team's objectives and will own policies related to new hire buyouts, discretionary awards, senior leader offer inputs etc
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and communication materials to educate employees on compensation‑related matters
  • Stay informed about relevant Region laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compensation, and ensure compliance within the organization.

May be required to engage with Benefits plan design and strategy

Job qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Minimum 7 - 9 years of Reward / Compensation experience with a Maths / Statistics educational background
  • Global Public sector company experience ( preferably within Tech / Professional services)
  • Line management experience (small teams of 2 -3)
  • Experience designing, administrating and working with Sales incentive Compensation plans and bonus plan design
  • Close involvement with board related compensation inputs
  • Reward business partnering
  • Stakeholder Management ( Finance / legal in particular)
  • Working knowledge of HRIS tool and Compensation modules (ex Workday)
Professional Skills
