We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in El-Fujairah. The ideal candidate must have an excellent track record and experience in handling financial transactions. We welcome both locals and foreigners who possess the necessary qualifications.
- Receive payments from customers in cash, checks, credit or debit card transactions
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
- Scan items for sale and ensure prices match with the items listed on the register machine
- Resolve customer complaints regarding payment issues or discrepancies
- Balance daily sales according to company policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the cash register area
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Accounting preferred but not required
- Prior experience as a cashier preferred but not required
- Excellent record keeping, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work productively under pressure with accuracy
