The Role Position Title : Health & Safety Officer

Reports To : HSE Manager
Position Overview : We are looking for a qualified and proactive Health & Safety Officer to support day-to-day safety operations across active construction sites in Dubai. This role ensures compliance with all health and safety policies, supports incident prevention, and reinforces safety behavior among workforce and subcontractors. You’ll play a critical hands-on role in driving a zero-incident culture and ensuring regulatory compliance at the operational level.

• Conduct routine site safety inspections and enforce compliance with safety procedures.
• Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate preventive measures are in place.
• Support the preparation and communication of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
• Investigate incidents, report findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor PPE usage, working-at-height safety, equipment checks, and confined space protocols.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspections, violations, and corrective measures.
• Collaborate with project and site teams to implement HSE initiatives.
• Report unsafe practices or near-misses to the HSE Manager for prompt action.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Valid NEBOSH IGC (mandatory); additional certifications (e.g., First Aid, Fire Safety) are a plus.
• 4–7 years of construction HSE experience in the GCC.
• Sound knowledge of UAE safety regulations and site-level compliance requirements.
• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proactive and team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety excellence.
