We are seeking a certified and detail-oriented Medical Coder to review clinical documentation and accurately assign medical codes for diagnoses and procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with coding guidelines, support revenue cycle processes, and help maintain accurate patient records for billing and reporting. Strong attention to detail and up-to-date coding knowledge are required.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and analyze patient records and clinical documentation.
2. Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
3. Ensure coding compliance with regulatory standards.
4. Collaborate with physicians and billing teams for clarification.
5. Audit coded data for accuracy and consistency.
6. Support billing and insurance claim processes.
7. Stay informed of changes in medical coding rules.
8. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
9. Participate in coding accuracy reviews and audits.
10. Submit regular coding reports to management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of coding experience in healthcare.
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• UAE coding or insurance experience is preferred.
