About the role

As a Senior QA Engineer at Invygo, you’re not just testing—you’re shaping the future of our digital platform and mobile apps. This is a senior role where you’ll take ownership of quality assurance, blending hands-on expertise with strategic leadership. You’ll champion a quality-first mindset, drive automation initiatives, and mentor a talented team of engineers. Your work will directly impact the user experience, ensuring our products are reliable, intuitive, and delightful.

What you will be doing

• Co-Lead QA Strategy : Partner with product managers and developers to craft testing strategies that align with our ambitious business goals, ensuring every release is rock-solid.
• Drive Automation : Build and refine automation frameworks from the ground up, boosting efficiency and expanding test coverage across our platforms.
• Mentor and Inspire : Guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise to elevate their skills and foster a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Ensure Exceptional Quality : Oversee end-to-end testing—functional, regression, and beyond—to guarantee our features meet both technical specs and user needs.
• Innovate Processes : Introduce cutting-edge QA practices, tools, and metrics to keep us ahead of the curve and continuously improve how we work.
• Bridge Teams : Act as a key collaborator, embedding quality into every phase of development by working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot with Finesse : Dive into complex issues, pinpoint root causes, and propose solutions that keep our systems humming.

Requirements

• Experience : 6+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role where you’ve influenced processes and people.
• Strategic Vision : A track record of designing and rolling out QA strategies that elevate product quality.
• Leadership : Proven ability to mentor and grow QA talent, with a knack for building cohesive teams.
• Technical Chops : Deep expertise in manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on automation tools and frameworks.
• Skills : Proficiency in SQL for data validation, plus hands-on experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Soft Skills : Stellar communication and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and align stakeholders.
• Location : Preferably based in the UAE to join our vibrant team on the ground.
