A leading contracting organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Materials & Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities and ensure the timely availability of materials for ongoing projects. The role involves vendor management, cost optimization, and compliance with company standards to support efficient project execution. Ideal candidates should have 8-12 years of experience in procurement and strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, along with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in procurement and materials management within contracting companies.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

- Plan and execute procurement strategies for materials and equipment.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare purchase orders and manage procurement documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with site teams for material requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships.
