A leading international EPC contractor is seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer Material & Corrosion for its UAE office. This role requires a minimum of 15 years of expertise in mechanical engineering design within the Oil & Gas sector, emphasizing compressors and machinery. Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.
Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.
Lead Engineer Material & Corrosion will be working with a team of highly knowledgeable professionals. Throughout the Engineering of the Project up to startup and operation They will:
Develop detailed designs, calculations, and specifications for mechanical equipment, including machinery, compressors, and rotating/static equipment.
Prepare engineering deliverables such as datasheets, reports, and drawings in line with project requirements.
Support the Lead Engineer in technical reviews, vendor document checks, and client coordination.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international codes (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical systems.
Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and technical meetings with clients and vendors.
Experience: 8–12 years of experience in mechanical engineering design within the Oil & Gas sector.
