Job summary

A leading entertainment company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Merchandise Planner & Allocator to drive availability, sales, and inventory efficiency. This role involves leading end-to-end merchandise planning, developing revenue budgets, and optimizing inventory. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in merchandising, and strong forecasting capabilities. Experience in Apparel, Toys, or Home & Gifting is essential. Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience managing merchandising for a category or sub‑category.
• Proven experience presenting year‑end reviews to senior management.
• Background in Apparel, Toys, or Home & Gifting sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end merchandise planning for assigned categories.
• Develop revenue budgets, seasonal forecasts, and OTB plans.
• Drive category performance through analysis of sales, margins, and inventory trends.
• Maintain optimal stock levels by balancing availability and commercial priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Buying, VM, and Operations teams.
• Propose promotional strategies to enhance sales.
• Present category performance to senior management.
• Lead annual range reviews and recommend strategic changes.

We’re looking for a Merchandise Planner & Allocator (Apparel, Toys, or Home & Gifting) to join our growing team! This is a key role responsible for driving availability, sales, and inventory efficiency across assigned categories - directly contributing to our annual business performance.

Role Overview

As a Merchandise Planner & Allocator (Apparel, Toys, or Home & Gifting), you will take full ownership of end‑to‑end merchandising functions for your category. Working closely with the Senior Merchandise Planner, you’ll support financial planning, assortment strategies, forecasting, buying decisions, stock flow, and in‑season management.

Your insights will help shape business decisions, optimize inventory, and maximize commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end merchandise planning for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with financial targets and business strategy.
• Develop revenue budgets, seasonal forecasts, and OTB plans in partnership with Senior Merchandise Planner.
• Drive category performance through deep analysis of sales, margins, and inventory trends.
• Maintain optimal stock levels by balancing availability, OTB constraints, and commercial priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Buying, VM, and Operations teams to execute assortment and stock strategies.
• Propose and evaluate promotional strategies to enhance sales and manage ageing inventory.
• Present category performance, risks, and opportunities to senior management to support commercial decision-making.
• Lead annual range reviews and recommend strategic changes for category growth and profitability.

• 5+ years’ experience managing merchandising for a category or sub‑category.
