The Senior Online Merchandiser & Website Search Specialist leads the onsite merchandising & trading activities of multiple Al Futtaim e-commerce websites, optimizing their Website Search Engine performance through iterative improvements. She/he will also lead junior merchandisers in day-to-day merchandising activities.

• Improve website-specific KPIs related to merchandising
• Enhance website search engine performance metrics
• Lead the merchandising & trading of various e-stores, maximizing cross-selling, up-selling, product positioning, and stock availability
• Manage daily/weekly product launches, ensuring 100% accuracy of product content and assets
• Assist the Head of Department in delivering weekly and monthly reports and analyses highlighting opportunities and risks
• Execute marketing and promotional email campaigns and homepage content updates
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and communicate effectively to ensure timely execution

• 4+ years in e-commerce merchandising and website performance management
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant merchandising role, preferably within a multi-channel retailer or pure-play e-commerce company
• Highly operational with an understanding of e-commerce and retail processes
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience in producing trade reports and analysis
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or equivalent, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Understanding of trading principles and how to leverage website search engines to drive conversions
• Proven track record of growing new business and implementing change effectively
• Strong eye for product and trading opportunities
• Deep understanding of e-commerce website search engine mechanics and rules (priority, boosting, weightage)
• High customer focus and ability to understand customer needs
