  • The Digital Marketing Manager at Al-Futtaim Group is responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives to drive growth across retail brands. This role requires a strong focus on developing high-impact marketing strategies across all digital channels, optimizing marketing performance, and achieving measurable business outcomes. The manager will collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing efforts with business goals, manage a team of marketing professionals, and ensure that cutting‑edge analytics and data‑driven insights inform all strategic decisions. Additionally, this position involves managing significant budgets, vendor relations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What You Will Do:
Digital Marketing Strategy
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Focus on driving retail and e-commerce growth across all AFG retail brands.
Executive Presentation and Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary liaison between the digital marketing team and senior leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling oral presentations on marketing performance, budget allocation, and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
Team Leadership and People Management
  • Oversee and manage a high-performing team of up to 5 digital marketing professionals.
  • Provide structured coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Data Strategy and Visualization
  • Lead the Digital Business Analytics team to manage, analyze, and interpret complex business intelligence data.
  • Oversee the creation of best-in-class data visualizations and reporting dashboards using tools like Power BI and Looker.
  • Monitor KPIs such as Cost to Income ratio (CIR), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
Predictive Marketing Campaigns
  • Lead the development and execution of targeted predictive marketing campaigns using Customer Data Platform (CDP) audience and product catalog.
  • Optimize customer acquisition and retention rates.
Performance Marketing Management
  • Manage all aspects of performance marketing including Paid Search (PPC), Paid Social, Affiliates, and Display Advertising.
  • Ensure alignment with strict ROI/efficiency targets and manage a significant budget.
Agency and Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and technology vendors.
  • Oversee contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor performance.
Marketing Activities and Optimization
  • Plan, execute, and measure a variety of marketing activities with a focus on full-funnel optimization.
  • Conduct performance-based paid search, social, and display campaigns.
  • Implement SEO initiatives to drive organic traffic and content marketing.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance.
  • Utilize A/B and multivariate testing to identify areas for improvement and optimize campaign effectiveness.
Industry Knowledge and Innovation
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and retail industry best practices.
  • Recommend innovative strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
