Job summary
A financial services company in Dubai is seeking an Accounting Assistant to assist in day-to-day operations, maintain financial records, and support month-end and year-end processes. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in an accounting or administrative role preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations and data entry.
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Assist with payroll preparation and tax filings.

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (or currently pursuing).
12 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Tally SAP).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance.
Experience in preparing basic financial statements and reports.
