We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai supporting our clients operations in the Foreign Exchange (FX) and Contracts for Difference (CFDs) industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen fluency in Chinese and a comprehensive understanding of Dubais financial laws and compliance frameworks. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure precise financial reporting and effective financial controls within a fastpaced trading environment.

What will you do:

• Oversee daily accounting functions including journal entries bank reconciliations and ledger management.
• Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory standards.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT laws DFSA regulations and all applicable financial statutes relevant to the FX and CFDs sector.
• Liaise with external auditors tax advisors and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits and statutory filings.
• Support the finance team in budget planning cash flow analysis and variance reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with operations and trading departments to reconcile trading revenue client funds and associated commissions.
• Develop internal controls to safeguard assets and support financial transparency.

Who are we looking:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional accounting experience ideally within the financial services or trading industry with direct exposure to FX and CFDs operations.
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is mandatory.
• Indepth understanding of Dubais financial regulations including those relevant to the FX/CFDs trading landscape.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Must be currently based in Dubai or open to relocation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CPA ACCA or CMA are highly advantageous.
• Prior experience working in a regulated financial trading firm.
• Familiarity with platforms and systems commonly used in FX and CFDs trading (e.g. MT4/MT5 CRM systems).
