Job summary

A prominent transportation company in Dubai is seeking a professional Heavy Bus Driver to safely operate large buses. The ideal candidate will have a valid heavy vehicle driver's license and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include adhering to traffic laws, assisting passengers, collecting fares, and maintaining a clean bus interior. The position requires excellent driving and customer service skills, with the ability to work flexible hours. This is a full-time role with no remote work.

Qualifications

  • Valid heavy vehicle driver's license.
  • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience driving heavy buses or similar large vehicles.
  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Proficiency in route planning and navigation.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy buses safely and efficiently on scheduled routes.
  • Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Assist passengers with boarding, including those with special needs.
  • Collect fares and validate tickets as required.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior.
