A global technology company is seeking a Space Management Lead responsible for optimizing space utilization across fulfillment centers. This role requires strong analytical and leadership skills, along with expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. You will audit operations, approve changes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates must have experience in Microsoft Office and effective communication skills. This position is based in Dubai, UAE, offering a flexible schedule, with opportunities for professional growth.
Space management is key for all the aspects of operational success including safety quality and productivity at FCs. From 2025 in AMET region we dedicate a single-threaded leader (Space SME) along with one Space Management Lead in each of the five countries to standardize and improve our space management strategy in the region.
The team of AMET Space Management will lead the continuous improvement initiative and take care all the KTLO (Keep The Lights On) configuration changes for any space management related topics.
At Amazon, space management in FCs refers to the strategic and efficient utilization of available storage capacity to optimize inventory storage. AMET breaks it down into seven major buckets:
The team has one regional space manager and five space management leads who report to the space manager. Each space management lead gets assigned to a country to look after the space management strategy (UAE, KSA, Egypt, Turkey, South Africa).
